Crystal Tokyo Met Gala - Hotaru Tomoe

crystaltokyometgala is a little fandom project where everyone is encourage to create "high fashion" looks for a Sailor Moon character under the guise of it being for the annual Crystal Tokyo Met Gala. 2021 theme is Dreams and Eternity.

Since I started this project, I'm determined to draw at least all main characters in a look to match the theme.

Hotaru is the last in the series and I went with the idea of space-- of stars and infinite galaxies and the eternity tied to them. I've always associated Hotaru with space, maybe because of the Infinity arc and her being the destroyer of worlds tucked away in zero space waiting to be summoned. A legend of destruction whispered on death beds.

Anyhoo, I gave my girl a puffy gown with several layers of sheer tulle with a golden lace boarder and star glitter everywhere to go with her starburst crown.
