Crystal Tokyo Met Gala - Haruka Tenoh

@crystaltokyometgala is a little fandom project where everyone is encourage to create “high fashion” looks for a Sailor Moon character under the guise of it being for the annual Crystal Tokyo Met Gala. 2021 theme is Dreams and Eternity.

Since I started this project, I’m determined to draw at least all main characters in a look to match the theme.

So I may have made Haruka really costumey, but I’ve had this dress with golden feathers down the sleeves saved in my tumblr drafts for years as I always wanted to draw Haruka in it. Really just the wings and I decided to repurpose them onto a regency styled male suit, because that’s also something I’ve wanted to draw Haruka in. Wing are a large motif in the 4th and 5th arcs/seasons of Sailor Moon, with Usagi using it in her eternal fuku and the existence of Pegasus, so I decided that justifies a winged regency suit!
